Default Are the Nano meets still on?

Just wondering since I've not heard much about them lately, and now that I'm mobile again It'd be nice to attend another one even though I'm not in a Rover anymore.

What about the Dodford Inn in Bromsgrove? Last time I went there they had a large field right next to the main pub.

who is going to approach them? as we have never been there, and lets be honest with ourselves we did not really support the Four Ashes as we should have in the later years out of the 10 we were using the field.

I doubt a pub of the above standard would allow us to use their field free of charge, and i also doubt many would use their pub for food, but by all means take a drive over and ask them about how they would feel.

I used Four ashes every time I went... I did think it was shame others didn't. Using it for free must have been a kick in the guts for them.

I always thought it was givolagy... Then we are left with nowhere. One bloke just took a sepitine wheel off me down there without a thank you... Very strange.

Hi Phil.
Hope your keeping well, we had a great deal with the managers at the FA use of the field and we would have our breakfast, dinner and evening meals in there, this went on for at least 8 years it was only in the last 2 years before the Covid that we the owners fell off using it as much as we should have, due partly to us, and also due partly to whom was running it, as the managers were coming thick and fast at the back end of the meets.

They stopped doing us breakfast as not enough were having it, then only a few would use it for dinner as the food became poor, and the evening meals were the same you could wait at least an hour for your meal and that too was not great.

Then came the pandemic

Therefore as the old saying go's it takes two to tango, but a lot more to create a good dance

Regarding your wheel, yes you will always get the odd few whom use and abuse that's life, anyways in the back ground we are still trying to get up and running so always worth watching the Nano forum for updates.

Drove past the Four Ashes last week and noticed it was closed. Shame to see the Meet's venue closed.

There's the Wheel at Worfield on the Bridgo Rd. If I recall there's an area beside the main car park that might be suitable?

Was a good night on a Wednesday for the bikers.
