VolvoXC70
Please don't kick me off but I'd be interested in any views on the XC70 diesel with auto box. I am looking at a rather gorgeous beast with cream leather and walnut. I still miss my 75

Sorry I cannot be helpful in your post but I am also looking to buy either the XC 70 or the XC 90, so look forward to any comments.

I am a big fan of Volvos especially the V70, I know someone who had one but it was manual. Maybe see if there is a Volvo forum anywhere

Now there's a good idea. My head isnt really on the right way around at the moment but I am looking at two. The second one has a very nice limited edition walnut steering wheel but as the dealer has not yet got back to me with an answer to a question I think I will go with the first option from the same garage I bought my Skoda from so they are trustworthy enough to go for a blind sale. I'll have to go down to sheffield to collect her but Cream leather with some walnut trim.

The Volvo forum is here
I used to have a V70. A really good car until the auto box failed. The problem was Volvo decided that the box was sealed for life. I had the fluid changed shortly after getting the car, but the damage had already been done. The specialist that I went to had a yard full with auto box failures. There is a thread here from a XC70 owner, with similar problems https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=247772 Might not be a problem with the one that you are looking at, but worth checking out.

This one has full dealer service history so one would hope the fluid has been replaced as per Ni9e |
