Smile '53 CDT saloon, starlight silver.

Needs saving from being scrapped.

Good points:

110k
Mk 1.
Connoisseur, diesel.
New clutch last year.
No welding.
Not been thrashed.
Fairly new battery.
Replacement ECU.
Symphony & CD changer.
Rear parking sensors.
2 keys.

Bad points:

Failed MOT.
2 new tyres needed.195/55/15
ABS light. (Rear bearing maybe)
Central rear seat belt buckle not working.
OSF CV joint boot.
NSF ball joint dust cover.
Excessive smoke.
Central exhaust leaking.
Front OS suspension spring broken.

A few advisories.
Rear suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened.
May need sills welding next year.
Et al.
Usual Rover 75 stuff.

Needs a better collection of music CDs.
And the rear swimming pool water probably needs changing.

All work can be done locally before collection.
Could fit a Witter towbar if wanted.
Got a few years in it yet.
Close to railway station.
Don't hang around, could be scrapped very soon.

Question

It appears there is a certain amount of damage to the nearside rear wheel arch where the car has been scraped (not rammed) against a painted wall.

Registration number OE53VWK.

Should be good easily for at least 3 more years.

Asking price for 110k mile Connoisseur diesel manual saloon car with new clutch : £300.

Nudge nudge, don't let it go for scrapping or breaking.
