Rain sensor pad
Hi all, retro fitted auto dim etc into the car a while ago and finally got around to getting the sensor activation with T4 yesterday.
Any tips for getting the sensor pad onto the windscreen without bubbles? First one I did ages ago (before activation) has a bubble which causes the wipers to work constant. Should I go onto the sensor first then screen, or screen then sensor? Any help appreciated.

Had 2 gels arrive, tried both methods (screen 1st then sensor 1st, cannot get the darn things on without loads of bubbles and the wipers not working correctly
I give up

I found the auto wipers a pain in the butt! Having had both (on 2 separate cars!), I much prefer to use the manual switch. That way, it wipes when I want it to rather than when it wants to. Flicking the switch, for me, is no hassle and puts me in control. Auto dimming mirror on the other hand was great and I must get sorted on my current car.

Easiest way I found was.... claim on the insurance and when they ask what type of screen you have, tell them it's with auto wipers, then the Autoglass guy will fit it for you without bubbles
