Can some one tell me what each relay does on the passenger footwell fuseboard on a mark one diesel? They are numbered 1 to 4 but neither Haynes or the handbook say what each one does.

can you hear any noise from the rear of car with the ignition on, no noise in tank fuel pump not working. Poss could also be crank sensor fault as well. Had similar problem with mine.
