Default How the professionals do it!

Up to get the sunrise down the Medway Riverside Country Park on Sunday morning, as I wandered round a pond that’s frequented by lots of birds with my 75-300 lens on, snapping away at anything that moves, as you do, when along comes this fellow with a nice sturdy tripod and ‘two’ camera bags, he proceeds to set up this arrangement, then he set up his camera with an L series telephoto lens and just stands there waiting in the freezing cold for something to land on the twig, I guess he was after some stock photos of robins on a branch.
It just seems a bit unsporting to me, a bit like shooting game from a hide!
Here’s one that I took before he arrived, this little chap was so friendly he kept coming to close so I couldn’t focus on him!
