I’m self employed to don’t get any help from the govt., so operating a no contact method of payment from my customers until such times as lockdown comes into force. Then I will see about getting a job as a deliver6 driver from the supermarkets or for the supply chain. I still have my 7.5 ton wagon licence and my driver cpc from the PCV entitlement carries forward,,enabling me to drive professionally.

Morning everyone.
The sun is out but still a tad windy. Hoping to get some more gardening done today.

Lovely sunny day here now. Seems most people adhering to the stay at jome plea, a few folk about popping to the shops but on the whole its quiet for a Monday morning.

Morning all - nice sunny day up here - until you walk over the doorstep and find yourself shivering in a bitterly cold wind.
Three local landmarks near me (Roseberry Topping, Whitby and Sheepwash reservoir) were all jam packed with cars and people - queues at fish'n'chip shops, people shoulder to shoulddr wandering around. If one person was carrying the virus - most of the others there would catch it. Why are people treating the isolation and social distancing as some sort of joke - instead of a matter of life and death? Even if they don't give a stuff for other people's health - aren't they interested in their own? I despair.

Have you put in a special word with 'Him upstairs' for Rover owners?
