Are you ex railway Paul? Most people treat "leaves on the line" as a standing joke, they don't realise its the railway equivalent of black ice.

Just back from The vets

Poor Georgie has got an abscess on her gum,she is now on a course of anti biotics and painkillers.

Next Thursday if the antibiotics clear it up she has got to have her Tooth out

Good job she has her own bank account, thats why we put £25 a month in it to pay for times like this,

Its the same here, -2 just now according to the Met Office site, no intentions of going out to check the thermometer. There's a damp patch on the path that hasn't thawed all day. Got birds doing Torvill and Dean impersonations in the bird bath.

Still trying to get used to this "new" telly. Lounge one had been iffy for a while before packing in altogether. Made do with the one out of the bedroom (reasonable size) until we got round to replacing it. One of Ging's friends told her she had a telly for sale, first I heard was when she said she'd bought it. Friend's husband and a mate dropped it off a couple of days ago. 55", still trying to get used to the size of the bleedin' thing! Unsurprisingly I can read the text without me specs.

LOL I'm the same, The big tellys in the living room,Conservatory, Mancave are monitors for the desktop PC's, I couldn't go back to small monitors any more.

I'm dahn Sarf on the GWR tonight, Newbury to Paddington station on a class HST 43. Arrived 5 minutes early, makes a change from being late most of the time

Hmm . . . . arriving so early would have undoubtedly have been noticed by control who would request the on train data recorder be downloaded and the journey examined.

Never been so early before!!! I kept bang on the max speed limits for the entire run.
When you finish the run you get a debrief screen at the end of the game to tell you how you did, I scored max points & earned a Gold medal

I don't save my debrief screenshots but it's the same as this one were you're judged on Speed,Stopping distance, keeping to timetable etc.
