Morning everyone, nothing much to report. This morning I cleaned the pool ready for Jessica to have a swim. Pool is looking clear and blue, the water temp is 16C, a tad chilly. I am about to unblock the drainage pipes to the septic tank. I thought I would do this before lunch in case the smells are bad.

Morning all, been up an hour and ready to back to bed, feels like I’ve been run over, all muscles aching so much.
More coffee required…

My daughter had it last week and felt the same. She's a bit better now and is back to work with a clear test but is still feeling the fatigue and has poor concentration etc. Take care. Mike

I've just found the mother load of worms in my garden! The bird feeders over the edge of the lawn have left three big mounds of grass, wheat, barley & everything in between growing there from the seed spillage over last year.
I took the spade to them to level them off & holy moly I've never seen as many worms in in my life I've just spent two hours picking them out by the bucket full out of that stuff & putting them in my compost piles to break it down.

That's why I stopped using a seed mix, the birds only ate the seeds they liked, the rest got thrown over their shoulder, used to get all kinds of triffids appearing under the feeder. Moved the feeder a while back so that it sits above a paved area, any dropped sunflower seeds are hoovered up by other birds, mainly blackbirds at this time of year!

Evening Steve, seems i'm lucky with the bird feeders, no wasted seeds here, the greedy beggars dont leave anything.

You're right! But I cant really put them anywhere else where the neighbourhood cats cant get at them, I sit in the conservatory watching them & half of the seed in the feeders gets thrown over their shoulders The mounds were just a mass of germinated seeds.

LOL Most of them looked like those bean sprouts that go in spring rol;ls, Talking of which I got some Chinese ribs in a sauce with spring rolls off the reduced shelf at ASDA, I didn't have any as the sauce tasted real spicy, I had the leftover cottage pie from yesterday.
