And as for lawsuits in America, it could only happen in America - hopefully. IMHO another person on the fiddle hoping to get a massive payout for nothing. A bit like all the other folks who are "influencers" and the like as far as I'm concerned.

Had a lovely catch up with Chris & Pam yesterday (Chris 65) while Quizzie, of course, charmed her way into rather a lot of treats . Nice to report that the tea making is still up to the standards we've come to expect at the Nano's . Cheers both.

Take care everyone.
Morning Andy,

Have you ever thought of making some doggy movies for fun? I have made a few over the years.

Lawsuits:

My last MediVac Air Ambulance from the South of France was made in a King Air 200. I had to repatriate a businessman who’d had a mental breakdown in Nice. To get him on the aircraft and to keep everyone one safe for the flight I had an anaesthetist with me who anaesthetised him. There were no problems inflight with him and his journey into hospital in the UK was uneventful.

A couple of months later, he tried to sue me for 5K as he claimed that whilst he was in my care he bought a Rolex for £5000. It was a “try on” and he didn’t get away with it. The company backed me up 100%. Their legal department took care of everything. His claim was not related to his mental illness. For myself it was a scary and stressful experience,

Doing that work I had to have indemnity and liability insurance and was not allowed to do any of those jobs to the USA without out it.

Morning everyone. Shopping done for another week (switched off hearing aids to avoid the Chr~*$Ma& music!). I was asked, which winter tyres were best, by a mate from "up north". "What's winter?", I replied! He has often called me "Southern softy" since I moved to Norfolk!Have a good 'un.

Dodgy Movies - I'll leave those to Ian .

That's some thanks for helping someone get home safely. Really pleased your company stepped up to the mark and backed you. I'll bet it was scary and stressful and something none of us need at anytime.

Take care.

Only music I listen out for at this time of year is “Fairytale of New York”, makes me smile every time.

Weather took a turn for the worse, now heavy drizzle.

What a mess with these hospital appointments! Been ringing different departments at Bolton Urology & the oncology dept at Christies Salford. Looks like I'll have wait a while longer until they sort this hormone injection appointment out again sometime around the 19th December she said & after my results from having a catheter fitted & camera into my bladder results on the 12th December, They've pushed my radio therapy treatment back again until some time in February That's going to be around eight months since I was diagnosed with cancer that I'll be getting any radio therapy.
It makes you wonder what's the point of telling people to see your GP at the first signs of prostate trouble to get it treated early.

If you can Ian, get everything confirmed in writing in case you have to put a complaint in. You were diagnosed in July and now treatment is not going to start until February through no fault of your own. Keep niggling at them, create a paper trail.

I was discussing this sort of thing with my sister in law yesterday and she said my younger brother would not be alive today if she had not pushed for everything in writing. He had been on monthly hormone injections for the past 11 years which is received as a maintenance dose for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer together with new anti cancer hormone tablets and steroid tablets.

Looking at him, you would not think he has been living with this for so long. He looks fit and takes the dogs walking every day sometimes 8 miles in a day.

By coincidence this morning I wrote an email to the NHS surgeon about my cancelled appointment for the next scan asking about it and some other questions relating to my next operation.

I am sorry to say this, but it’s the ones who kick up a fuss or complain are the ones who get noticed and action taken.

If your not up to it Ian, please ask one of your family to be your advocate in speaking up/writing on your behalf.
