Just been exchanging messages with Rich, he has been in hospital for a week and has an infection, he's at home recovering and looking forward to getting well enough to go to the NEC in November.

Hi Andy, thank you,

I speak to Richard most days on the phone and sometimes we text messages. He cannot walk very far at the moment without feeling faint and he is continuing to receive investigations from the hospital in regards to this. If this is related to the high temperature he had, remains to be seen from the tests and consultations he is having. He did go through a phase when he didn’t want the forum to know about him being in hospital. We wish him well and hopefully the doctors can get him better and back on the road to recovery.

Heavy rain is expected.

Toy fair at Newton Abbot racecourse today, going to take the collection I have just bought and see if I can flog it to one of the dealers.

I had a text message from Rich yesterday telling me about his stay in hospital, and his new home address. It appears that the family all moved home.

When I chatted with Richard he didn’t want anyone knowing he had moved houses. He said 2 people on the forum had upset him and it’s for this reason he has stopped visiting the forum and didn’t want people to know his business. I know who they are but they are nameless. Sometimes an internet forum can be a hard place to bear, but here he is amongst friends and we wish him the very best with his healing whilst he is having is recovering and having time away.

It torrential rain here and I am hoping there are still better days ahead for us all.
