Advice please ,
Morning and please help..
Whilst driving back from a fantastic Meat Loaf concert last night, some idiot with lights brighter than the sun came towards me, dazzled , I hit the curb whilst going past a junction, passenger seat side airbag deployed immediately. As I pulled up , i could already feel the front Tyre gone,( if I could have caught the ******* that dazzled me , couldn't even tell what type of car or Id go to the police). When i checked the car , front wheel is, well , destroyed....serious crack in it! back one also has a bit of a buckle too causing another flat there, managed to nurse her home as wasn't that far away. just been out and had a good look over it....gutted, absolutely gutted... Will need at least 2 wheels and tyres , passenger seat airbag , I'm assuming srs sensor from passenger side. Can anybody else tell me is there anything else needed , ( apart from a fat wallet , which I aint got....) Is it worth going through the insurance ?? help |

Well, it's a certainty that the insurance will write it off if you claim.
If you decide to repair it yourself, you need to check for suspension damage, if it's cracked a rim and deployed an airbag its likely to have bent something underneath. |

Yes I'd be surprised if the lower arm isn't bent after such an impact.
