Default Premuim Bumper

the shocking thing is, we used to have to put the bumper on cars we had just to test and show off our work...

My company car at the time was a MGZT CDTI estate, that then had a rover premium front on....

I brought that car 1 year ago for £1200 54 plate!!! bargain, I sold it to a friend...

We also had a one off rover 45 with the same style front, this was planned in its next facelift!

I will do some talking and update you all with my findings reference the chrome....

Default Premuim Bumper

No sadley no, at the time I never thought to photgraph it, and the car was sold off but the guy who brought it wanted to convert it back to its former self, never seen it since....

Regarding the grills/bumpers...I have ahd a conversation today, we are going to price reproducing the complete bumper, and spares for those who are short...

I have suggested that a rover bumper is done as it was before, and perhaps getting rid of the rover shape insert for the badge and creating an insert for the MG badge. This would create a MG version of the bumper, however, we can not copy the new MG7 one completly as we do not own the rights.

Would like to no what people think about producing a rover and MG bumper??

Great news if it goes ahead. I like many more on here have been waiting for someone to look at manufacturing. It would be nice to put bumper back on with chrome grill .Been trying to make one from brass for the last 4 month's. Would gladly give up trying . Regards Alan

Default Premuim Bumper

Because I have two new ones spare, we are going to strip one to use as the template so be it...The guy who will remanufacture this used to do them previously and currenlty produces for Jaguar/Landrover, so if will not be a bodge job...and yes, more MG/Rover than MG7...

will update you all soon accrodingly..

(Also got my brother involved so two people on the job)

Hello Gareth
It would be a good idea I think to start a new thread with an anouncement as there maybe some people that have not been following developments.
