Default Drivers Door Handle

Hi,

I removed my drivers door handle when replacing the door from a donor car. I followed the instructions Stocktake kindly posted and the excellent pictures from Arctic and all went well during removal of the handle. When reassembling I followed the instructions in reverse and all seemed good, however when I put the key in the lock it turns clockwise and anti clockwise fine but nothing happens, no engaging with the lock or disengaging. To add to the inconvenience I can't open the door from the inside, outside handle opens fine and locking with the fob is working fine.

Have I missed something during the reconnecting process?

Regards.

John.
