Tragic, tragic news. My thoughts are with her family.
Each year we moor at the North Quay at Yarmouth Yacht Station, and we well know how difficult it is to moor up when the tide is running on the Bure, boats regularly hit the quay wall with quite a " thump". God bless her, may she rest in peace.

This video from my friend Robin a few years back shows just how fast the water can flow by the Yacht Station and the two bridges spanning the Bure at Yarmouth.

RIP to the young lady.

Yes, l recall mooring there on a boating holiday forty years ago. I was quite pleased to get her in but was informed by the quay master that we had to turn the boat around & moor against(?) the tide.
