Cheers Mick, are the auto vs manual ones the same? My ZT is a manual.

Thanks for all the alternative suggestions all If i were to blank it off further back on my ZT what could I use to blank it off?

Heater/cooler.

This also shows an hose fitted to the other part of the pipe work.

The same part can be seen with the manifold off.

As opposed to the manual exhaust pipes here below.

We are on about blanking it off at the back of this exhaust pipe, not removing the heater/cooler right?

Yep, leave it all in place and put a piece of 2mm thick aluminium between the egr pipe and the exhaust manifold.

Use the gasket as a template and no one will ever know!

Make sure the flexi is connected to something solid at each end.
Ie, don’t blank and leave unconnected to the egr valve.
The result would be the flexi elongates and rupture.
How do I know this?🤔🤔🤔

Trikey, What’s the best way to access the exhaust manifold to do this?
From below?
Had a look from below a few months back, and access looked like I’d need double jointed flexi fingers to do this.🙄

I did mine from above, long 3/8 extension bars and yes, double jointed fingers help.

Default egr bypass

it's best to blank the manifold, think you have to take the battery / battery plate off for easy access. This is the one like I used:
