Finally Going In For My Operation After A 23 Month Wait!
Originally it was booked for April 9th but was sent home after 3.5hrs due to no beds.
Then I had the date extended to Friday the 13th September except I had a belter of a cold and couldn't go in, so I was given a new date 8th October. Unfortunately I received a phone call from Torbay Hospital Admissions on the 4th October saying that was no good so it was rebooked for the 11 October at 7.30am. I will be leaving home via taxi at 6.30am. Will be in for a few days no doubt, at least the food isn't bad but you don't get much sleep. Then when they finally let me out depending on what type of surgery I have had will determine the length of time that I am not allowed to drive for. Hopefully it will be keyhole surgery which is a much shorter recovery time, if it's major surgery then it's 3 months of no driving and 9 months recovery for me.

Good luck Neil, let’s hope it’s key hole and you’ll be back on your feet sooner rather than later.

I don't want this operation really but because I have been suffering with gallstones the gallbladder has to come out. Every show that I put my name down for this year it has wrecked, plus a few others with another club I'm a member of. I haven't been able to do one single show!

Got to the hospital early this morning and it wasn't open, main doors don't open until 7am.
So l had to enter via the Emergency entrance. I had to be on the Admissions ward by 7.30am. After seeing the nurse, the anaesthetist and my surgeon l am now ready, will be going into surgery at about 10.30am, fingers crossed. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
