LOL OUCH! Rich. I'm not into spicy food as my plumbing complains badly, I've tried jalapeno peppers once many years ago with a kebab which burned the roof of my mouth off I really liked the taste but not the heat, I was thinking of growing some in the greenhouse for friends and was wondering if you can boil them in hot water to lessen the heat? I wouldn't mind trying them again if it killed the heat. There were two tins of cream of chicken soup in the back of the cupboard so we had those with chunks of tiger bread to dip in for tea.

Over in the Philippines its those evil little bird's eye chillis, grow wild at the side of the road etc. Ging used to eat them raw! First time I went over she took one and crunched it, offered one to me saying they're not too hot. Like I mug I popped it in my mouth and started chewing . . . . HOLY F... Her father said its normal Steve, we eat them then he took one and crunched away the tears started running down his face. Turns out he wasn't daft enough to eat them raw like her but he felt sorry for me and tried to make out eating them raw was normal

Evening everyone, managed to avoid getting soaked when taking the dog out this afternoon.
We did both get drowned this morning though!

Recently downloaded this. Not sure if it’s old or new, but heard it on Planet Rock in the car a few weeks ago and liked it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Knocking-at.../dp/B07DF7898C

Morning all.
Well looks as if the storm has left us at last. No damage other than the dustbin taking a stroll round the garden. Currently it’s bright with high cloud. And today I’ll be taking Banana in to the paint shop. Have to get a cab back to Saltash.

Good morning Bob, good morning all. I hope everyone else is okay with the bad weather you are having. It is has been very hot here last week, in the middle - high 30's. It is unusual for it to be so hot and we are resisting having A/C put in, as it is expensive to run. The temps shoot up in the afternoons and it doesn't start to get cool until about 11pm
This morning I applied for a new digital tamper proof driving licence, it is chipped and looks like the one in the UK, except on the card, it has your Identification number, blood group/organ donor and it has the number of driving points related to driving offences. Driving points is a little different: I have 20 POINTS. 20 points is a clean licence with no offences/bribes paid Good driving behaviour is rewarded with extra points. Offences and bad driving behaviour, leads to points being deducted and the insurance companies here use the points to give a discount or not. What is everyone up to today? |
