Looks like Unipart are in trouble .............yet another quality brand down the pan.

It really infuriates me that cheap brands win through eventually.
I've always used quality brands in the workshop but it's getting more difficult to source them.

Owners don't seem to look long term these days.
Garages seem to want to fit cheap rubbish for maximum profit.........and the prospect of getting paid to do the job again in a few months.

Not how I work.
My vision & focus has always been on quality not price.

Let's hope Unipart get rescued but somehow I doubt it

Unfortunately the way of the world

Good to see that some people appreciate your PoV Where you get a quality service with quality parts you will always get repeat custom from owners who appreciate such a service

A shame Unipart are going under, no doubt due to the sea of Chinese copies flooding the market.
There's no point fitting 'cheese', as in 3 months you'll be doing it again.
That said, my friend has had 2 steering racks from Euro Car Parts leak on his ZT pretty much immediately after fitting - they're usually selling good stuff.
I've ordered a used rack from Sean - hopefully that'll hold up. After spending 2 weekends under his car changing them, I'm not particularly impressed!

Greetings from down under.
After fitting powerflex bushes I would never go back to the original rubber units. The steering precision was transformed. The quality of the original type bushes seems to vary so much.
