Default Abs problem.

Hi all.

My abs light came on last night on the motorway and the car vibrated for a couple of seconds. After pulling over for a coue of mins set off home the car was fine. This morning I checked the cruise control and it is now not working. Does this point to the nsf sensor.

Thanks in advance.

Yes Dave if the ABS light is still on and the cruise button on the dash isn't lighting up then suspect the NSF sensor/cable/magnetic reluctor.

Default Abs

My ABS light came on and also speedo stopped working. Replaced drivers side sensor, cleaned out the hole and bingo all OK now. Fortunately in NZ we do not have the same corrosion problems as you have in the UK so old sensor came out without any problems.

There’s been a few posts on replacing the sensor recently so I would do a search and read up on them for best advice.
