I have both rear calipers with seized nipples, I have been giving them a dose of penetrating fluid every few days in the hope that when I attempt them (weather permitting) they will play the game.

Also try not to use a ring spanner as it puts an un-equal load on the nipple. They don't like being pulled to one side Use a BOX type spanner that puts an axial load equally on all the threads.

A bit of heat with a small blow torch, cooled afterwards with some penetrating oil, which as it cools the nipple will draw in the oil. ( partial vacuum, atmospheric pressure.)---

It only takes a second or two with a small gas blowlamp, to get them hot, to free them off.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Also good (with a bit of tubing) for sucking paint out of a brand new paint tin without getting it all over the rim of the tin - vital if you're using POR15 paint.

Hi TC, we meet again. Last time I spoke with you it was about my Rover 75 1.8T. Unfortunately the liners had dropped on that and that's why it kept pressuring the system. That is now for spares. I have a mgzt 1.8T which has that sinking pedal. We have bled it all and still. So it has to be the and doesn't it. Would the and need that T4 apparatus on it. I have not got a clue what a T4 is. Is it something I can buy or is it a garage job. I changed the master cylinder on it aswell and still the same. Someone said the abs is either KO'd or needs bleeding. Can you in short explain what you would do now.

Hi guys, following on from this, I am bleeding my dadas 75... (new calipers on the back) yet the Rear O/S just won't bleed properly. The pedal is almost impossible to depress. The other 3 brakes bleed absolutely fine, but not this one! Once in a blue moon I can get some fluid through it, but then the pedal just goes solid and nothing comes out... I have also tried a vacum bleeder on it too.... any ideas at all? New brake hoses on the back as well as calipers by the way.... I'm really stumped...
