May well send him a mail myself and get first in line, or if I can get more local members interested perhaps we could organise a group buy and split the shipping. Thanks again Mike |

That is very interesting that he will supply individual persons, that way it will keep the middle man out of it, so the price could be good for us, there is no middle man having is slice of the cake.

You can see why I subcontracted my old man's tourer sill repairs to Tom, this it the type of long term repair that needs to be carried out if you plan to keep your car.
Excellent workmanship Brian |

Good perhaps for the UK owners, but the reason I mentioned DMGRS in my earlier post is my fear of postage costs and I know DMGRS have good rates, much better than anyone who uses the post office will get. All too often in the past I've found what I wanted at a good price eg. Jezzer1's rear light seals, but the cost of postage is sometimes ridiculous - often more than the purchase price! Anyway, I've mailed Tom expressing my interest whenever he finds time, I've not asked about the price as I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount for his quality of work, I just hope that the cost of postage isn't prohibitive. Regards Mike |

We need to get Tom an apprentice to train up as he's got bigger projects on the go. Top quality workmanship is not easy to find!

I guarantee that 99% of garages would just clash on the replacement section.
