Morning all - it's a bitterly cold morning here, with a bit of a breeze just to chill the bones. At 11.00pm last night, it was a total white over with a very hard frost - but it seems as though it softened towards dawn. However, the sun is shining (although it hardly gets above the hills at this time of year) and at least it's not raining.
I've been coerced (bullied/threatened ?) into a sort of Christmas shopping trip this morning - oh what undisguised joy - not

You love it really, going around 47 shops only go go back to the first one and get something in there, usually something that was never on the target list in the first place.

Morning Phil, the bolts had a good soaking in plus gas for two days, the inner bolt was tight vomit I just kept working it and all was well.

You will need the heating in full Jeff, it’s very cold here.

Technical know how and patience paid off, how reassuring for Pete. Thanks Andy for the update. This afternoon I have emailed the vascular surgeon in the UK with the results of the CT scan I had last week, where it showed the aneurysm was 5.3 cm. Anything over 5.8 cm when they blow, is 100% fatal. I don’t believe it’s 5.3 cm as when it was measured in Bristol in September it was 3.8 cm.

I have asked him to reply and let me know if I need to fly back and to have an urgent scan/repair. It is possible if he says yes, we will be in the UK for Christmas.

Last winter, I managed not to have the heating on in the flat in Bristol. It’s position of being on the 4th floor, new double glazing and turning the water off kept everything okay and bills were low.
