fuel consumption
Greetings from the antipodes
My question is the fuel consumption indicated on the display of our 2.5 V6 Connoisseur. After 13000 kms the figure has never changed from 9.2 litres per 100 kms. I keep a fairly accurate record of fuel used and the real figure averages just over 10 lt/100 kms. I wish it was 9.2. Any suggestions would be welcome. |

doesnt help you much with consumption, but it is possible to change the ratio of the calculation in the fuel computer so it equates better to your actual use. There are a number of recent threads on this and these dash diagnostics are in the how-tos, I think...

28.24 MPG for mixed driving is just about right for your car. The only way you are going to get better is to trade it for a diesel.
Hope I got the right end of that brown sticky thing. |
