Default Farcebook or Not?

I have come across yet another site to which I wish to reply, but to do so one has to be a signed up member of Facebook, which I have always tried to shy away from. Is it easy enough to control one's use of it or does it become addictive? Can one withdraw membership easily?

Answers below in the available white area please?

I have a farcebook account, but never use it. Like you, I needed an account to make it easier to log into something (can't even recall what), spent a short time trying it out, realised it had nothing to offer me, and haven't touched it in ages.
At one point it spammed me daily with 'friend suggestions' but once I worked out how to disable notifications, it's been fine. It just sits there, in the background, awaiting my attentions should I ever lose my faculties and have a desperate urge to friend someone I didn't talk to at school.

I joined just to get some info from a particular site, haven't used it since but apparently I've got 27 friends & notifications waiting for me according to the email

I'm on Facebook but rarely use it. The biggest problem i have got,is the g/kids have shown my wife Facebook Marketplace, she is addicted to it. She is buying stuff on there whether we need it or not "As it's a Bargain".

Facebook, Twitter etc. - not my “cup of tea” - but my kids use both, tho a lot less than they did.

“Too many Tweets make a ” sums it up for me. Trump being a great example.
