Default Website for a relative technophobe.....

I need to build a website for business use. I have done so before using 123-reg which is simple enough but found their communication, back-up and support so terrible it's almost non-existent.

Have also used 'Mr Site' which for a relative technophobe like me, is brilliant - it does exactly what it says on the tin for virtually no money, but there is one snag. At the bottom of every page is the 'This site built with Mr Site' legend' which you cannot remove and in my opinion makes the site look unprofessional. (interested to know if you agree with this assumption?)

So I guess what I'm looking for is something with a good presentation capability (which in my view Mr Site has), which is not silly money and can be built by an idiot, by which I mean the contents can be built in a normal programme without the need for special software and can be uploaded through an idiot proof control panel - just like Mr Site, but still look professional.

Any ideas please?

I use Serif web plus 10

http://www.serif.com/webplus/webplus10/index.asp

it uses templates that you can modify yourself, and although it takes a little getting used to, I think its great.

I made my own site with it:

and another done with serif

they belong to a mate of mine, he has 2 of the trucks now, and another mate supplies lighting and sound equipment when needed. There was one over here a few years ago, the "Guinness gig rig" but it went off the road due to increased demands for public liability insurance, lorry specifications, health and safety regulations all sorts of legal mumbo jumbo etc, and its taken the lads a few years to get all that in place. To me its a lot more professional looking than the usual 40 foot trailer you see at festivals
