Fitted electric leather seats to my car two years ago now. Because my car is a Classic spec I had to wire under the carpets to the approriate fuses. However I have had no problems since I wired them in....

I did choose to stay well clear of the minefield of memory seats however!

Didn't the Japanese leather seated cars have air conditioned seats that blew cold air through the leather?

The list of which side different countries drive on was useful - some I thought drove on whicever side they felt like, but now I know different.

Having spent some time at Luqa, that doesn't surprise me in the least.

Guess what?? It's green.

I'll be looking for manual or non-memory seats then

I've found amother set of seats at River Breakers in Hull. Right trim code, from a 2003 car but they're memory, should I let this put me off, surely If the seat mounted ECU is there all that's needed is a Ignition live, constant live for the memory and an earth?

A possible problem is that there is a K-Bus connection to the ECU, which it uses to determine if the car is moving or stationary (if the car is moving, it inhibits some functions). I don't know if it is a problem if it is not connected, or if the ECU needs programming.
