In case you are wondering what is happening re London meets. I'll be doing the leg work starting next week. Having had 2 holidays in less than 2 months I need to clear a back log of work.
Suggestions so far are a Pub near Croydon, ACE cafe Nth London, Leisure centre in Nth Finchley London, Fairlop Waters in Barkingside and the Custom Car Museum in Hayes West London. These will be checked out along with some places I have in mind.

I dont think you realize how much Bob does jay, he will keep his word to us but there is a lot of work in setting these meets up plus weather is a major factor at this time of year so a venue that has cover is important or we all end up sitting in our own cars which we could do at home .
I think meets tend to slow down at this time of year anyway weather plus peoples commitments so I am guessing Bob is aiming for the New Year he will tell me loud and clear if i have it wrong !!! Od course if you know of a venue jay and can arrange i would be delighted with other london members to rollup and support you !!! All the best mike |

Bob will not let you down. There is a fair bit of effort involved in sorting a meet & when you do despite folk asking "when is there a meet in my area" you can bet your life that it will be in the wrong place or it's too far to travel etc etc and you end up with a half a dozen cars and think why do I bother.. Cheers Ian
