Default Water Overflow Alarm

Lidl are showing a Water Overflow Alarm available from 7th February, price £4.99.
It appears to have a small sender unit with 1mtre lead to Control Box with separate 9v Battery & has 98dB Alarm.
Dependant on the size of the Control Box the sender could be installed in the Plenum Chamber & provide an early warning of impending problems.
Not an alternative to clearing tubes, but could be worth a look.

Dee Cee proposed something similar using a bath monitor I bought one but was not impresses so chose the fail safe option of pulling the plug out.

Remind me Keith, where does this drain out too or does it follow the same route as the plenum drain pipes?

this is the hole that emerges into the bulkhead/enginebay on the lhs (from bumper).. just near the trinary switch. It would dribble down the lower bulkhead.
