I note Rev Jules and Dawn are attending, has Rev Jules demoted Sister Dawn from her place of high exaltation, surely his reverence hasn't forgotten that behind every great man is an even greater woman!

Ruislip Lido Meet 16th August
Alanjay,
Thanks for pointing out my error. Sister Dawn has now been now elevated to her exalted position. I shall carry out a suitable penance. However, flagellation may be a step too far!!! Are you joining us? After all it is the second Sunday in the month. You do invariably enjoy reminding us that you are so used to having meets Mid-Month and that suits your diary. John, you have been added to the list. Will be good to see you again. Peter. |

Was hoping to attend tomorrow, but Mrs Teflon has hinted at other plans for the day. She doesn't get much in terms of breaks as she's sole carer for her 93 yr old father, so would seem selfish not to go along with her plans. She's actually expressed an interest in visiting the Cranleigh Classic Car show, so it should be an enjoyable day in any case.
This will be the first Ruislip meet I've missed, but I'll make certain to attend the next one. Have fun guys, and don't forget the photos. Cliff
