Well done Trikey on your efforts, and to everyone who has supported the cause. I’m laid up with covid, but have sent a little donation of my own. Christopher on behalf of the club has also sent a contribution to the gofundme page.
Take care out there. |

Mission completed!! Two van loads of aid dropped off safely this afternoon to be taken by clack back to the Ukraine.
Once again I will say thanks to you all for your donations, you really have made a difference to so many folk. I got to meet some Ukrainian women and children this afternoon, their faces tell the story of what they are going through. Claire the lady that has put up with me all week has not only provided the transport, but has offered her house to one family on the coach today, she is a star. I was given a packet of cigarettes from a Ukrainian guy who was loading the aid with the words ‘thank you, you are good people’ We met a few more ‘good people’ on the way across, Brits taking their vans and cars full of aid to do their bit. It’s good to see the world has some folk who value the lives of others. Thank you again, you guys have helped to make the Ukrainians lives a little more tolerable tonight.

Well as some of you will know Trikey has achieved his mission and arrived safely which is amazing to say the least as sometimes we do not know how fortunate as individuals we all are compared to the people of the Ukraine in these sad times
Well done Trikey you are one of the best and if there is an after life and Deb can see what you have done she would be so happy with what you have achieved by helping these poor people in there sad times Dave and Kate |
