Thanks Tony...after a bit of messing..formatted original card and put a backup copy of IGO i'd made on it, still hung on setup options for ages..15 mins at least... then suddenly cleared and now its like nothing is wrong......So I would advise everyone to make a back up of their original SD card as soon as they get the head unit just in case.

Thanks again think your suggestion made the difference.

Hi Paul

I use the Gurjon skin:- http://www.gurjon.com/

The car was a bit harder to do, I got our IT man to do it for me, I am not sure how it done it. it's all on the card I do:-

Are these the RCA pre-outs outputs that can be used for the Sub or do you have to 'tap off' the rear speaker outputs from the middle plug, therefore amplifying an already amplified signal which then will be subject to some form of distortion,,,,a bit like the HK set up.

A bit technical I know but I have discovered similar units from 'china' that offer a sub output, RDS, DVB-T in addition to the array of features offered.
Hi Nick

I used the rear RCA speaker outputs fro my sub unit, which seem to work fine, you do not lose and sound from the rear speakers using this connection.

Hi Guys,

I've just checked my tracking on e.m.s and it tells me that it is with customs in Coventry, arrived yesterday afternoon.

Any ideas how long customs hold the unit for until they dispatch it?

The wait is like Christmas Eve when you were a kid waiting for Santa

Hi Jeff, it normally takes a few days to clear customers, you can get a better idea on either www.parelforce.com or www.royalmail.com depending which method they were sent and by using the tracking number you have.

Hi Tony,

Have just done that (thanks for the heads up)

25-07-2010 17:27 International Hub AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGING
25-07-2010 17:27 International Hub Arrived in destination country
22-07-2010 14:59 Delivery Agent - EMSEVT SHENZHEN EMS Left origin country
21-07-2010 21:32 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer

Not sure I like the bit that says: AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGING

Is that normal or am I going to get stung for something?
