One small tip for carrying out the work; the leak back pipe connections can be quite tight to pull out after the spring clips have been removed. Don't try and lever them up by placing anything under the pipes as they will break. Grab the top of the connection with a small pair of mole grips or pliers and pull directly up, twisting slightly if required.

Is the leakback test necressary if he can get the car to the Nano meet and have diagnostic check using a T4?

The car would run fine for a while then just cut-out, some times re-starting there & then sometimes refusing to start. Andy (Trikey) came round with his T4 and diagnosed on the spot, with a chat with the orical MarinaBrian. Replaced the sensor job jobbed
