Default Bulb out warning light

Would this very cold weather make the bulb out warning light come on ? I have checked all the lights and they are all working

Poor connections also activate the warning lamp.

I assume that both rear side lights are working? As a brake light will take over if a side light blows on the back.. just worth checking..

I'd strongly suspect that you are mistaken. Check number plate lights and also that the tail and brake lights light up different sections of the rear light cluster (you'll need an assistant to push the brake pedal - or a bit of 2x2 the right length ).

P.S. Once you fix it, test the brake lights again to see what I mean.

P.P.S - Looks like Kbonney88 beat me too it.

i use the garage wall when i reverse the car in, although it was only when I took the car out to investigate a bulb failure that I found the tail lamp filament was lit in the brake light. That is a handy feature.
