Non start cdti 2003

Hi any ideas car always starts from cold no problem but just recently has been very difficult to start ,on odd occasions when warm/hot, took the car for mot today and did all the checks without fault stopping and starting no problem but when it came to taking off the ramp gave a slight cough when turning over then nothing,the battery by this time was nearly flat so a battery pack was produced and it eventually started without missing a beat,codes were checked and they are as listed PI EOO canbus, PI E25 speed sensor monitoring, PO235 boost pressure sensor fault, these codes maybe nothing to do with the problem but suggestions welcome,TIA.
