Default FBH Remote

Can the FBH be operated by a remote no matter what the outside temperature is.

All analogue Thermo Tops Can

All you need is a 1ch 433Mhz receiver and remote fob.

You can use a piggy back on the FBH fuse, so the FBH and remote are protected by the factory fuse which can be left at 20A.
Receiver fits inside the engine compartment fuse box.
If you run a pair of thin wires into the cabin to your rear view mirror, you can mount a LED that will illuminate whenever the FBH is started with the remote. LED - to receiver NO. LED + to 12v.
If you want to go a step further, and have a FBH isolator switch (When <5 ° and you do not want the FBH to start up when the engine is started), run another pair of wires to the rear view mirror, and fit a switch to the interior light clusters cover, to switch it off. Connect in series to pin 1

If you have a remote supplied by Steve you only have to pm him and he will sort you out, no doubt he will respond on here later

Jules, I will PM you my email address, has to be a simple connection or wire problem, unless both your remote batteries are flat

Quick Q: how long did it work for, or did it not work from the time you fitted it. If it never worked you may have a NO NC COM + - crossed to/ from the receiver.

A simple fix, have fitted 100+ with only one return. As it is one of mine and if faulty which I doubt, will send you a new receiver.
