Hi mate,
You could get a car battery make up 2 leads and unplug the front motor and put the two wires direct to it to move it, then swap them back to send it the other way, hope that's of some help, at least you would be able to eliminate the motor Mick

I had a recurrent problem with mine when almost new that was blamed on a faulty seat ECU which the dealer replaced. It could be reset by removing the right fuse, (I would need to look up which one) or disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
Replacement ECU showed the same problem so dealer implemented a workround by adding a relay that disconnected seat ECU power every time you turned the engine off. That sorted it but meant it lost memory settings each time, so that was changed to a simple switch being fitted to allow manual reset if it locked up. Apparently common problem at that time (late models) Eventually solved properly by Corin Messenger by replacing the seat ECU again for a second hand one - that was 5 or so years ago and never been a problem since then. I would try the battery off reset first! Mike |

Excellent! Thanks for the feedback.
I would assume its the same problem then - dodgy seat ECU. If it happens again let me know and I will see if I can work out what wire the deal put the switch in to allow me to reset it easily. Mike |
