I have a 4 year old ish Acer 3003 laptop which has only a 512K ram chip fitted running XP - Any ideas guys on where is the best place to get some memory from and should i go for a higher rate single or a smaller one to run with the one already fitted?

Tootall hi,

This clicky is a recognized/recommended place it will scan your machine and show recommended upgrades reasonable prices and free delivery.

Personally I would go with the max your machine will take, 2GB I think, how you do it depends on how many memory slots you have, ie 1x2GB or 2x1GB
XP runs much better with 2GB.
