Hi bluey

Here is a drawing of the large ISO plugs.

The 12v permanent feed is on pin 4 PK [purple/pink] large grey ISO

The 12v ignition feed is on pin 7 LGW [light green/white] large grey ISO

You should be able to tell from the info that comes with your DD unit if the wiring in your 75 matches your new unit..

That's fantastic, thanks a lot.
Let me buy you virtual pint for that... or a real one if our paths ever cross. I'll check it out when the bits and bobs arrive.
I can at least be prepared even if I don't quite have the dexterity that is required.
I actually remember changing those little connectors over for the same reason when fitting a Lidl Medion stereo to my TF... only minimal swearing and involved too.

Cheers

One last question. My unit isn't a Sean DD one it's an Xtrons... do you think I have a chance of the switched and perm 12v being in the right places without further faffing about involved?

Cheers

Sorry, I'll drop out at this point, because I had assumed you were meaning the Sean unit.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Probably my fault for being unclear, Harry. The info you gave me still helps withthe plug in at the spare wheel well. I was stumped by that.

Cheers
