Mg zt 1.8 turbo intake manifold

Hi all I'm going to change the gasket on my intake manifold on the zt . I've seen some people swap the plastic part for the alloy one and was wondering whether there is any benefit to doing so?

It prevents warping as some of the plastic ones can warp over time leading to a weep around the waterway.

As I can get one from an mgf non vvc ?

I just fitted the Vvc because it was available, non Vvc would be fine 😎
