Default CD-80 buttons

Hi all
Got round to tuning in my CD-80, noticing have to press the preset buttons a certain way to work them, or they don't work at all. Do they wear out or a known issue, is there a fix or something? Thanks, David

Some of the buttons on mine don’t respond at all. I might pull it apart and try some switch cleaner.

Just to make matters worse, since having to remove the console and interior in order to dry the carpets, my steering wheel controls are no longer working
