Thanks for this information, I should have ordered this sample too. On the other hand, transport is indeed prohibitive:

If I add up the French vat and over all the administrative fees that the tyrant will not fail to charge, it will cost me about 150 Euros, and that's way too much.

It's a shame because what I find in France or Germany is identical in appearance, but is either darker or lighter!

Finally, the really big difference with what is closest as a sample, provided by "The Upholsterer's Shop"... As a result, sun visors and grag handles are noticeable far too much!

I am thinking and on your advice maybe I will modify my order to oatmeal and confirm.
With a trim code "LBB" is it certain that the light shade is indeed "light smokestone"?

I wouldn't want to be wrong!

Here are the two shades of the upholstery, but actually the screen distorts the colors a lot!

Yes LBB is "Ash Grey/Light Smokestone".
There are only two shades on the 75/ZT range for the headlining, Sandstone Beige (SCD) and Light Smokestone (LPR).

I will probably do mine starting next week, I'll take pictures of the end-result so you can see how Oatmeal actually looks in the finished car. If you're not in a hurry to do yours...
I can also ship some of my left-over Oatmeal to you once I'm done so you can have a proper sample.
and yes, shipping to France is cost-prohibitive, I warned you
I was lucky to have it shipped to my sister in London and pick it from there...

Thanks...
I trust you for the best match by choosing Oatmeal.
I will contact Martrim tomorrow and have the order changed.
For the surface of fabric to order, their rolls measuring 1m80 in width, I count. take 1m50. The roof measures I believe 1m40 in width, that must be enough.
But I will check again.

On the other hand, I look forward to your comments on the type of glue to use and the installation method...
For my part, I am thinking of using contact glue in a spray can, the glue to be brushed on seems difficult to control and risks going through the foam.
I think it is necessary above all to avoid pressing with the fingers and to use a kind of spatula, as for the wallpaper of the walls of the house.

I'm wrong:

The lenght of the roof ( exterior ) is 1m40, and the headlining is 1m10 wide. 1m80 x 1m50 will be more than enough!

They sell by meter unit so you should go for 2m. you will need some extra length anyway from your measurement because the headlining cardboard is not flat (obviously) and more importantly you want to have the fabric pulled over on the sides, not just cut at the edges.

Well, I'm now done with the headlining retrim which I did over the weekend.
It's the worst job I did (and I'm not afraid to say so) as far as headlining retrim goes (did my 200 and 800 coupe in the past), and definitely the last one I'll do myself on a 75/ZT.

First, Martrim didn't send me Oatmeal, they sent Silver Grey (which to be fair, was an ordering mistake on my part, I called them up before shipping and put a note in the order to have it changed to Oatmeal, but apparently no one cared to read it).

Second, that carboard is a nightmare So many curves and holes to fill that to the best of my expertise I couldn't avoid a few creases there and there, especially around the sunblinds area. Something I never had a problem with in my previous jobs. It doesn't help either that the Martrim fabric is thicker than the original.

And finally, car with side airbags are really a pain when it comes to removing the A-pillar trim (which you need to do fully on the RH side to unplug the headlining loom). I could remove two of the three straps properly but the 3rd one further down I had to resort to cut it, as I couldn't reach the retaining screen with my torx driver. And when refitting, broke the top lug. So it still holds in place but is a bit loose at the top.

Whenever I have money to spare I'll remove it again and give it to a proper trim specialist to have it redone. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with the whole thing.

Hello, I received the headlining fabric "Oatmeal" from Martrim, £80 transport, but VAT/VAT and TNT handling fees are included, so 121 Euros in total with bank charges...

The dismantling of the fiberglass panel went well, you have to be careful by removing all the accessories, especially the lighting ceiling lights whose front ends hold by plastic fasteners ... It is necessary to unclip the back part of these ceiling lights and then pull them backwards because otherwise we risk breaking the plastic fasteners!

The white labels in the photo indicate the name of the manufacturer of this panel, the date of manufacture, the name and surname of the two employees who made it!

On the other hand, extracting this fragile panel from the car is very complicated! I noticed that it came out through a rear door, but you have to fold it a little and I was very embarrassed by the front seats: We don't know if we should move them forward, backward, put the backrest lying down or pushed forward as much as possible!

Honestly getting it into the car makes me a little anxious and I plan to remove at least one of the seats, or even the seat of the back seat to take fewer risks.
If anyone has a procedure about it, I would be interested to know about it.

This thread might help. It is mainly about the sun roof, but Post #8 is about getting the headlining back into the car
