To be honest the fuel gauges can be, "lets say a little random" in their readings, on occassions the float reader in the tank can get stuck. Mine did this about 2 weeks ago but it has cleared itself now and has since been fine. What i find is if you get in the car & it registers 3/4 full and go on a long journey the gauge may hardley move but when you stop turn off the engine and restart the gauge finds it's new level. I soon worked out it's little quirks & can more or less trust it's reading.
To be honest I'm a driver that once it hits quarter full I refill anyway. Here are some How To's if needed. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=9068 http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=9108
