Default aux input from harmony head unit

Hello newbie here so please forgive me if my question has been answered before.

I have a harmony head unit I believe (established from the sticky) I have a 6 cd changer in the glove box of my 52 plate 75 diesel saloon.

I would like to know if there is a way of adding a connection cable to enable me to have an input from either an ipod touch or an android tablet / phone.

thanks in advance

I asked the same question last week. I have same spec car as you and am fed up with radio and old cds. Having done some research try this link.

http://www.techradar.com/news/audio/...n-test-1035323

You can get them on fleabay, amazon and I believe halfords.

It effectively turns your mp3 output into an FM signal which you then tune your radio into.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

David

I used to use one of these - worked fine! http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd...91586-pdt.html

There are cheaper versions, (£1.99 on Ebay) but I found them quite mechanically noisy.... I suppose you get what you pay for...

Default iso connector???

thanks for the links guys, but I was hoping there was an iso connector available so that I could keep the cigarette lighter socket free for my sat nav. its also in a really bad place right in front of the gear stick.

Default just answered my own question

found a picture of this on another post and did some research, looks like it may do the job & not too expensive either.

I'm considering this too. Did you get it? How fiddly was the installation etc?

Unfortunately the Harmony does not have ISO connectors.

The Harmony uses a BMW connector.

I think I have a Symphony unit. Would those connectors work?

Thanks
