Morning all, lovely weather again, typically the forecast is for rain at the weekend!

Morning all, It's another scorcher again today. What a lousy nights sleep in this muggy heat.

Yes.. We slept with the windows open which was OK until 4am.. A dawn chorus of 50 seagulls ain't the most pleasant way to start your day

We should have been on our way to Wales today for the CMGOC weekend away. Was looking forward to a long weekend away. There would have been 42 of us going. Oh! Well, something to look forward to next year.

So instead I’ll give the cars a wash.

Too hot Bob - for you, and the cars will dry streaky before you can leather them off.

Good m...... - whoops, it's afternoon already
Like most, had a shocking night's attempted sleep thanks to the humidity overnight - a large fan helped for a while - but it then developed a noisy bearing so I had to switch it off.
Looks like today is a repeat - I've been out and cut a bit of grass 'cos it was beginning to look like the Brazilian Pampas. Whilst the grass cutting was successful, a sun burned bald patch and a dodgy back from lifting the lawnmower at a bad angle means I ain't doing much more today
Just popped a bottle of Aspall's Draught cider in the freezer to chill it off - I'm not going to drink it, but roll it around my forehead

Yeah we had the windows open slightly. Cant open them fully or these ninja cats would out of them They're mental lol.

A seagull dawn chorus would remind me of holidays in Blackpool as a child We have Blackbirds, wood pigeons & Crows for our dawn chorus here,

Yeeeaaahhh! the first dwarf sunflower I grew from seed has opened
