Canon exif data
Just found that if you connect your Canon camera to the pc and open EOS utillity (this shoud auto open) go into camera settings / remote shooting. Then depending on what version you have, click on setup or the icon of the hammer and spanner. There is then a space to input your name. Could help towards copyright. your name should show in the exif data.

Wow! I always knew there was an EXIF field for name - but never knew I could write it into each photo the camera took. Excellent!

I have seen it in properties within Flickr but didn't know how to do it. Spent today finding out.

You can also do that with Nikon D40's "Image Comment" directly on the camera
MENU Set Up Menu Image Comment Input Comment (add your message) Enter. job done very useful in more ways than one for both types of cameras, as its like a little electronic security tag proving the camera is yours (as long as nobody resets it of course)
