Today that would cost you up to £5000, unless of course you have a licence to dispose of it, then it only costs £3000

When I was on the railway, the diesel loco maintenance shed, ground was so oil soaked if anybody digs there in the future they'd think they'd struck oil.

I remember doing that with my father, its certain strange how things change...

Didn't folk also bury their rubbish in the garden, I'm forever finding broken glass, pieces of metal in our garden?

Most of our ww2 aircraft were scrapped but it was not unknown for some of the Fockers to be buried. Click

Waste engine oil, mixed with "proper" creosote = most water repellant garden fence paint known to man
