Sorry to hear this Duncan.

Hope it clears up as soon as possible, and listening to some tunes will indeed pass the time.

I don't suffer from a slipped disc - but I do occasionally suffer what they call a herniated disc - where the disc stays put but a bit of it pops out an presses on the nerve - very painful but not anything like a full blown slipped disc.

I am sure it was this pain and the strong analgesics they gave me that somehow re-routed my brain so I now suffer bouts of insomnia - because I used to sleep like a log before my back problem.

And yes - music is a lifeline when in pain or just unable to sleep. Tho I now use my iPhone with earpieces and the quality is really very good without my waking everyone else up!

As for TV? - I find recording some of the great old comedy programmes as a series on Gold very useful as I can dip in and out when I need to. Compared to modern day comedy the old stuff is far superior and well worth a revisit. 😃

Default Maybe.

If you like music I could post you the USB stick I have, I sent it to young Davy in Wales last, you just upload it and pop it back in the post to me. It's all from my own collection.

Very kind offer thank you

I used to Dj a lot when I was younger so I have a massive collection of music, which has been well used in the last few days
