Ha ha worth a go Fred.
 Mystery solved! Went out to the car this morning and locked the doors on the interior button then switched on the interior light and no alarm. Then I saw that the lock button doesn't arm the alarm, so tried it the other way round; locked the car on the fob and then pressed the unlock button and hey presto off the alarm went. Trikey was right all along!  So my fault - thought I hadn't locked it but I could have done, or maybe the fob got inadvertently pressed by loose change in my pocket.  |
