Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning all. Naff day here, cloudy, windy, showers forecast. First action today was to download "Sully", I didn't realise it was on last night, great film.

Great that Jessica is getting out Phil.

It's been rather bust this last few weeks although I'm not going to complain

Glad things went well with your pacemaker op Richard. As Phil said, take it steady mate.

So good to see that Jessica is doing well after her Op Phil. Much love sent to you both from Ros and I.
Thanks Jeff

Good morning Steve, thank you.

The ward Jessica is on is very busy with new patients every day and most of them are in their 80’s with broken bones and Dementia. From what I have seen, all the doctors and nurses have been professional and kind towards the patients. I had news from the hospital to say because of the backlog of patients cancelled by the doctors strike, my operation is going to be delayed by 2 months. I hope I can last out until then.

How are you?

Raining heavily here now. Our daughter collared my wheelbarrow as the plastic tub broke away on the she uses at the stables, So I've been fixing that all afternoon.

Meat & tater pie chips & mushy peas for tea tonight.

Morning all,

Ros and I had a quick trip up to the boat yesterday (it didn't rain)
It was just to drop off some photographic stuff I had sold to somebody fairly local to Acle.
It was far too windy to consider taking the boat out so we just had a catch up with a few of our friends in Acle, grabbed a bit of lunch at Dunes river cafe and then headed home in time for the Wimbledon final.

Finishing off editing Saturdays Saab photoshoot this morning and I'm off to the Hospital this afternoon for my eye check up.

The wind has dropped a lot this morning and there is a bit of sun about. Temperatures not much to talk about though.

How is everyone today, all set for the week ahead?

Cool

Good morning everyone from waterlogged Cornwall, and we still have a hosepipe ban.

Had a nice chat on the phone with a chap yesterday who owns a Trophy Yellow ZT with less than 14,000 miles on it. He bought it straight from the factory in 2003. He also has a MG SV in Nocturn with less than 4,000 miles on the clock. He has a couple of other cars that he uses for every day. I’m hoping to meet up with him soon.

Trip to the Post Office to send off some spares, having another clear out.
